With true OEM-grade manufacturing these ballasts are intended to perform for years with absolutely zero failures.If you have a D2 OEM HID setup with a failed ballast you can purchase one of these to get back up and running at a fraction of the cost of a new ballast from the dealer. You'll simply need to tap the positive and negative input wires into the power wires powering your original ballast.This ballast should be used with D2 bulbs only (D2S D2R D2C etc). If you have a D1 bulb or a standard aftermarket AMP HID size such as 9006 H1 or H11 please use our AMP or D1 ballast instead.With the OEM-grade 23kV igniter which is also fully waterproof this ballast will strike the bulb perfectly every single time.
