The unit is TIG welded and pressure tested at the factory. This kit includes all hardware needed for the removal and replacement of the EGR cooler for a hassle free installation. aFe simplifies the buying experience by not requiring a core charge nor a core exchange fee. New Construction: aFe EGR coolers are constructed from new stainless steel components. All connections are welded, not brazed, for reliability.
